Tuesday 25th Lessons

Well done girls. An excellent, lively and well focussed session in which you all displayed creative skills and without exception made an effort. Though we were really only sharing ideas and discussing I believe that you all made progress and I want to see that confirmed through the HW.

Homework:

1. Continue to develop your story idea through re-writing and complete for next Tuesday. Make sure that you use the ideas given today to make it stronger and clearer.
2. Write a first draft of what we will see in the trailer - see the example below.

Girl is sitting on a bench alone - in her hand is a mobile phone - she dials a number - waits

Int. Girl's bedroom. Night

A digital clock reads 4:00am. The girl's eyes open wide in fear.

The handle of the door begins to shaky violently.

Fade to black

Int. Kitchen. Morning

The girl is eating her breakfast. Listening to the radio. Her mother fussing around her. Suddenly, she looks down at the cereal bowl - it's full of blood. She turns to her mother and screams - the mother continues to do the washing up not hearing. A voice on the Radio:

              This is only the beginning Laura.

Int. Girl's Bedroom. Night

Digital clock read 4:01am - Laura sit bolt upright.
