Tuesday 25th Lessons

Well done girls. An excellent, lively and well focussed session in which you all displayed creative skills and without exception made an effort. Though we were really only sharing ideas and discussing I believe that you all made progress and I want to see that confirmed through the HW.

Homework:

1. Continue to develop your story idea through re-writing and complete for next Tuesday. Make sure that you use the ideas given today to make it stronger and clearer.
2. Write a first draft of what we will see in the trailer - see the example below.

The girl is eating her breakfast. Listening to the radio. Her mother fussing around her. Suddenly, she looks down at the cereal bowl - it's full of blood. She turns to her mother and screams - the mother continues to do the washing up not hearing. A voice on the Radio:

Developing your HW from Tuesday

1.    Improve your150-250 word idea for your film explaining in detail the genre and target audience

2.    Provide 2 examples of film trailers from the same genre: embed trailers and analyse.

CW for Friday

1.    Create a 25 word pitch for the movie
2.    Create a name for their Production Company and design a logo
3.    Create a mood board for their movie using images and words

Extension describe the mise en scene, camerawork and sound you would like in your film.

FINAL WEEK

Welcome back from your WORK EXPERIENCES, I hope they were all valuable and stimulating.

This week, being our last, we will be having a practical lesson and using the cameras to make teaser trailers for our main film idea.

You will be working in groups and based on how well you work and what you manage to achieve, I will be developing a list of working groups for the autumn.

You will need to bring with you your books, your completed Assigment 2b and any other outstanding work. In September there will be an audit of all assignment work and interim Controlled Assessment gradings so that you all know where you are at, what you need to complete and what you will be predicted for the Summer. But to do this I MUST have Assignment 2b.
